Performance by students of the Department of Jazz and Popular Music of the Faculty of Music in Trieste

13^th December 2024 | Teatro Verdi, Trieste

In the full hall of Teatro Verdi in Trieste, a concert marking the opening of the 2024/2025 academic season was held last night. Students from the jazz department of the Faculty of Music performed as members of a joint extended Big Band orchestra with students from the “Giuseppe Tartini” Conservatory. After the symphony orchestra program and the award ceremony, the concert concluded with a performance of the “Peer Gynt” suite (by Edvard Grieg), arranged by Duke Ellington, under the leadership of Mirko Rubenji.
