IN.TUNE Alliance Expresses Strong Support for the Students and Academic Community of the University of Arts in Belgrade

The European University Alliance IN.TUNE has expressed “unwavering solidarity with the students and academic community of the University of Arts in Belgrade,” stating that it has been closely monitoring developments at our university and beyond with deep concern.

In an official statement signed by rectors, presidents of partner universities, the alliance leadership, and the IN.TUNE Student Council, the alliance emphasizes “strong and unequivocal support for the students in Serbia and their legitimate demands,” with a particular focus on the significance of student-led initiatives for “positive societal change and a just society.”

The alliance also highlights the risks faced by students and faculty in their efforts to advocate for their rights, stressing that “advocating for secure and improved working conditions for professors, students, and staff is essential for maintaining the high quality of education at the University of Arts in Belgrade.”
