Draško Adžić, DMA
Draško Adžić graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Department for Orchestration and Composition, under the supervision of Prof. Isidora Žebeljan.
His pieces have been performed in Serbia, Canada, Great Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Armenia, Malta, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. He participated at significant European festivals such as Gaudeamus Music Week, ISA Prag-Wien-Budapest, Music Biennale Zagreb and BEMUS.
He often composes for theatre, television and film. His applied music has been presented at festivals such as Berlinale, Fest, Bitef, Sterijino Pozorje, MESS, Cinema City and Maifestspiele Wiesbaden. In 2012, he was awarded the Sterija Prize for the original theatre music. Furthermore, he was one of the artists selected to represent Serbia at the 13th Prague Quadrennial in 2015.
Draško Adžić acts as a pianist, singer and conductor, performing his pieces as well as those of other composers. In addition, he occasionally organizes contemporary music concerts.
