Olivera Jovanović, DMA
Olivera Jovanović graduated in the class of prof. Mirjana Šuica-Babić and obtained her master degree in the class of prof. Ninoslav Živković at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, Department of piano. She received numerous awards, among which the most important are the October award of Belgrade (1995) and the first prize at the International piano competition “Petar Konjović” (1993).
Over the course of twenty years of her artistic career, Olivera Jovanović performed numerous concerts as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed in all eminent halls in Belgrade (Kolarac hall, Belgrade Philharmonic, City Hall, Crystal Hall of the Armed Forces, National Museum…), as well as in many cities in Serbia and beyond, and on festivals like BELEF, BEMUS, Forum of composers, etc. She has collaborated with numerous musicians in chamber music and her greatest interest is in piano duo. Several times she had performed with the Orchestra of Radio Television of Belgrade and with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra as a soloist. The piano duo with Maja Mihić was performed together with the orchestra of the Serbian Army.
Olivera Jovanović has 23 years of experience in education, receiving the acknowledgement letter from the Faculty of Music for her artistic and pedagogical contribution (2011). She is a member of the jury at Piano festivals in the category of comparative piano.
