Stana Krstajić, MMus
Stana Krstajić has graduated from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade where she studied in the class of professor Miodrag Azanjac, and then obtained post graduate education at the Musikhochschule in Munich with prof. Marianne Henkel Adorjan. As a soloist and chamber musician she has given concerts in Serbia as well as in Germany, Denmark, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, France, and England. The festivals that Stana has taken part in are: BEMUS, NOMUS, „Oleg Kagan“, Schwetzinger Festspiele, Niederrheinische Herbst, International Review of Composers, Belgrade Harp festival, Belgrade Flute festival. She founded Trio Donne di Belgrado, Trio Singidunum, Duo Diverso, Duo Floral and Duo Flutympanon. Stana’s music partners were Olivera Đurđević, Vera Ogrizović, Edin Karamazov, Birgit Stolzenburg de Biasio, Margaret Price, Marianne and Andras Adorjan, Dušan Bogdanović and other. As a soloist she has played with Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, St. George Strings, BGO 2 “Dušan Skovran“.
From 1989 Stana played in the National Theatre Orchestra and from 2002 untill 2021 she performed as a solo flutist at the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. In June 2021 Stana was elected for the position of associate professor at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. In 2003 she was the world promoter of the Pearl Maesta Flute and has been playing on it since. Stana recorded many compositions for the Radio and TV and has published three CDs. Many composers have dedicated their music to her.
