Stefan Cvetković, PhD
Stefan Cvetković, PhD (Belgrade, 1983) graduated and received his doctorate at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, at the Department of Musicology. Since 2011, he has been working as a Music editor at the Third Program of Radio Belgrade, and since 2015 at the Department of Musicology of the Faculty of Music, currently as an Assistant Professor on the courses of the History of Music, History and Theory of pianism, and Methodology of sciencе. The main field of Cvetković’s professional interest is music performance with a focus on pianism. He is a participant in national and international scientific meetings and the author of papers published in publications in the country and abroad. He is the editor of the anthology “Music in Echoes of Criticism” (2017) published by the Kolarac Endowment and the author of several articles, papers and reviews in local periodicals. He is an associate of the recording labels CPO and Sony Classical.
Cvetković is the winner of the “Vlastimir Peričić Award” of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2010, as well as the “Pavle Stefanović Award” he received from the Association of Composers of Serbia for music essays and criticism for 2021. He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific magazine “Mokranjac”, as well as the Association of Composers of Serbia, the Croatian Society Alexander Scriabin and the Serbian Musicological Society.
